Anthony’s multi-faceted corporate practice provides a variety of legal services to large and small businesses alike. He represents an assortment of closely-held businesses – many of which are family-owned and operated – in a number of industries that include food service, manufacturing, distribution (producers, suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers), and an array of professional practices. He counsels his clients on all aspects of their business, from choice of corporate form, stock and option considerations, financing, and employment issues to leasing and real estate transactions. Anthony also has successfully represented clients in numerous corporate purchase and sale transactions for both buyers and sellers.
Anthony has developed an extensive practice representing members of the alcoholic beverage industry. He routinely represents Massachusetts alcohol wholesalers and local, national, and international suppliers before the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission as well as before Massachusetts state and federal courts. He advises those in the alcoholic beverage world on licensing questions as well as on state and federal regulatory compliance. He also frequently drafts and negotiates distribution and supply agreements.
Anthony also has comprehensive civil litigation experience, having represented clients for years in business disputes as well as in employment, insurance, and professional liability matters.
While at Suffolk University Law School, Anthony was a member of the Law Review, serving as the Production Editor in the Law Review’s Front Office. Outside of the office, Anthony bakes with his family at their North End, family-owned bakery, Bova’s Bakery (open 24 hours!). He spends his free time skiing, golfing, reading, gardening, and cooking. Anthony lives in Swampscott with his wife Caitlin and their daughter.
