Sheila has over 25 years of experience in the areas of estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates. She is a 1981 graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and a 1985 graduate of Boston College Law School.
Sheila’s experience includes drafting sophisticated estate plans to meet the specific needs of her clients, including Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Shared Use Agreements for family owned multi-generational real estate, and Special Needs Trust for clients or their family members with disabilities. She represents owners of closely held businesses in asset protection and business succession planning, clients who wish to develop gift-giving strategies, unmarried couples in developing shared ownership agreements, couples who desire either pre or post nuptial agreements, and clients seeking long term care planning.
In addition to estate planning services, Sheila counsels clients on all aspects of estate and trust administration with a focus on preserving assets and family relationships while minimizing taxes.
