Victory for Client in Employment Discrimination Matter
Daniel Fishman recently scored a significant victory for one of the firm’s clients in an employment discrimination matter. A former worker at the client’s facility filed a Charge with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) that alleged age discrimination, perceived sexual orientation discrimination, and retaliation. Mr. Fishman investigated the allegations and filed a position statement with the MCAD that outlined the legal and factual shortcomings of the allegations in the Charge. The MCAD substantially adopted the client’s position, determined there was a lack of probable cause, and dismissed all claims against the client based solely on the papers.
